Description
JHR ceramic honeycomb are manufactured through vibratory forming and high-temperature firing, offering excellent thermal shock stability, high-temperature resistance, superior volume stability, erosion resistance, and large heat storage capacity. These products have been successfully applied to regenerator burners at more than 30 steelmaking facilities, including Jiugang, Weigang, Yingkou Medium Plate, Han Steel, Tiangang, Yuanli, and Huaxi Stainless Steel. Available in square, hexagonal, and round configurations with mullite and high-alumina compositions, the JH-M and JH-HM series provide reliable thermal efficiency for reheating furnace applications.
Key Features
- Vibratory-formed and high-temperature fired construction ensures consistent densification and mechanical strength.
- Excellent thermal shock stability minimizes cracking during rapid temperature cycling in regenerator cycles.
- Superior volume stability maintains dimensional integrity under sustained high-temperature operating conditions.
- High heat storage capacity optimizes thermal efficiency in regenerative combustion systems.
- Erosion-resistant composition extends service life in high-velocity gas and particulate environments.
Application
- Regenerator burners in steel reheating furnaces (walking-beam, pusher, and roller hearth types).
- Heat recovery systems in steelmaking and rolling mill operations.
- Industrial heating applications requiring stable thermal storage and heat exchange performance.
- Regenerator burner nozzles at steel plants including carbon steel and stainless steel production facilities.
- High-temperature combustion air preheating in metallurgical furnace applications.
